If you are compassionate and insightful, you may be uniquely qualified to work with individuals with disabilities as a rehabilitation and mental health counselor.

This degree arms you with a unique skill set to guide people with disabilities towards the resources they need to live full and productive lives. Learn about assistive technologies, case management and the psychosocial challenges of rehabilitation. Collaborate with government agencies, community organizations and private businesses.

A first-year practicum and a semester-long internship in a professional clinic or mental health counseling setting will prepare you to help people with disabilities find gainful employment and play a meaningful role in their local communities.
