The University of Pittsburgh offers one of the only bachelor's degree programs in Emergency Medicine (EM) in the country. This program is designed to provide our graduates with a competitive advantage in the health care fields. Many graduating EM students continue on to medical school or other graduate level programs. Students are provided with a strong foundation in clinical experiences, educational expertise, and administrative leadership. The program faculty are leading educators in their fields and take a dynamic and multidisciplinary approach to emergency medicine education.
