eduroam (education roaming) is a worldwide network of secure network access for students and other members of the academic community, which allows members of participating institutions to gain internet connectivity when visiting other institutions.The eduroam Companion app provides users with the locations eduroam-enabled institutions worldwide, allowing them to locate the nearest source of secure internet access.When the app opens, users can see the locations of sites close to them either on a map, or in a list form with the distance to each site noted.
