Commuter Mentoring Program
This program connects first-year and transfer commuter students with upperclassmen commuter students who serve as Commuter Mentors.
Commuter Mentors send weekly emails with helpful information and invite students to attend campus events and meet other Pitt-Greensburg students.
Benefits of Participating
- Connect with a Commuter Mentor.
- Meet new people.
- Get involved on campus.
- Receive helpful information and get questions answered
Where do I sign-up?
All new first-year and transfer commuter students will automatically be assigned a Commuter Mentor at the beginning of their first semester. You will receive a letter with more information sent to your home address from Student Life and Success, and an email from your Commuter Mentor the first week of classes. We hope you decide to participate!
Commuter Task Force
The Commuter Task Force is a place for commuter students to discuss concerns and improvements that Pitt-Greensburg can make for commuters. This group also sponsors commuter specific events with Student Government Association (SGA). Contact SGA in 212A Chambers Hall for more information and watch for advertisements for events taking place throughout the year!
Parking
Parking permits can be purchased in the the Business Office in Millstein Library for $90.00 per year (full-time students) and $48.00 per year (part-time students). You have to register your vehicle first by completing an online form that is emailed out to all students every August.
There is more than enough parking available for commuter students. The red parking sign indicates a commuter parking lot.
