CO-OP: This program offers graduate level students the opportunity to work full-time for at least one semester.   As an applicant to the program, you will benefit from our office’s job development efforts, but we strongly encourage you to seek intern and co-op openings on your own and apply to as many relevant positions as possible, as this is a competitive process.

In an effort to protect the Pitt community, Pitt requires that all students be immunized against measles, mumps, rubella (MMR vaccine) and chicken pox (varicella vaccine). Students must submit proof of such immunizations or evidence of immunity to the Student Health Service (SHS).

Immunization information can be completed by students using on-line forms available on the Student Health portal via their www.my.pitt.edu account. Students must also send an official copy of their immunizations via US mail or by FAX (412-383-1846), preferably before the start of the fall semester.

Panther Central is your place for your Pitt ID! You can upload your photo virtually and your ID typically will be ready for pick-up within 24 hours of receiving your “accepted” email from Panther Central. Panther Card pick-up is in Panther Central, which is located in the Litchfield Towers Lobby. If more time is needed to print your Panther Card, you will be emailed directly at your Pitt email account. 

Please Note: Only newly admitted students and newly hired faculty and staff are eligible to have their Panther Cards preprinted. All other customers can submit their photo, but will have their Panther Cards printed upon arrival at Panther Central. Remember, all customers should wait for a photo confirmation email from Panther Central prior to going to the office. Please see here for more information and to upload your photo virtually.
