Self Service Account Activation

Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh! Let's take a few moments and activate your University Computing Account. The entire process should take you less than 10 minutes to complete.

You must complete the account activation process in one sitting. You will not be able to save your progress and continue at a later time.

Once activated, you will use this account to access computing and technology services at the University of Pittsburgh.

In order to complete this activation, you will need to have the following information in hand:

• The following information from the email that was intially sent to your personal email address:
• Your University Computing Account Username
• Your unique Activation Key
• The following information from your initial University of Pittsburgh application:
• Your name and address information
• Your school, major, and career codes
• Your phone number as you initially provided it on the application
